Website for Toddlers

Most households own computers nowadays. In fact, stats show that in 2000 over 50% of households owned a computer or laptop and that was 9 years ago! Now there are things like computer notebooks such as netbooks and even the convenience of Wi-fi connections that make it that much easier for the common household to get online. And if you are one of the unfortunate families that can’t afford a computer or the internet, most libraries allow toddlers or preschoolers to play online for timed intervals.
With modern technology advancing so much, I think it’s important for us to be teaching our children how to access the internet and enjoy the benefits of being able to play games online. Unfortunately there is a lot of risk of sitting a small child down at a computer with little or no supervision. A click on the wrong ad or a simple mis-spelling can take them to a site that many parents don’t deem appropriate.
Because the worldwide web is such a big place, it’s pretty hard to find a great list of quality websites for toddlers. When my oldest child (who’s now 4) was a toddler I was searching online for some websites that he could play educational games on. What I quickly discovered is that you will often find a list of maybe 3 or 4 decent sites, but you will hardly ever find a long comprehensive list of toddler games that can be played online. So after several frustrating hours of searching the web for educational game sites for toddlers, I decided to put together my own list of free toddler sites.
This list of toddler website that I’ve put together has some free and really great websites geared towards toddlers of all ages. There are tons of games your toddler or preschooler can play – everything from learning ABC’s, colors, numbers… some even teach English, Spanish and French! Most kids will love a majority of these sites and the companies are usually always updating and changing them by adding new games, crafts, and more!
There are at least several hundred sites that your toddler can sit down and enjoy.
